About
I'm co-founder and CTO of Dscvry, where the working theory is that AI is mostly a systems problem wearing a machine-learning costume. The interesting question is rarely whether a model can do something — it's what an actual organization does to it once it gets there.
Outside of that: I like understanding how things work underneath, I learn from wherever it's useful — psychology, military doctrine, advertising, whatever the problem actually resembles — and I notice when something everyone accepts is quietly absurd. This site is where that part lives: builds, notes, photography, and whatever was too exploratory or too personal for anywhere else.
